With Resala, sustainability is the key. The “ten pounds project” was a great success because it was based on a regular monthly donation. Resala’s blood donation system is based on the same strategy. At the first Thursday of each month, blood donation takes place in front of every Resala branch. The regularity of this monthly donation process helps sustain the flow of donated blood and keeps blood banks at hospitals in a safe level. This assists many sick children and adults who suffer from diseases that have no cure but to change their blood on regular basis.
Each healthy volunteer may safely donate blood four times a year. You may donate blood twice or even just once a year just try to make on a regular basis.
