Deaf
Each Resala branch has a room for the deaf. As a volunteer, you first go through a sign language course in order to be able to deal with the deaf. After completing this initial training, you can then start dealing with the deaf. You can volunteer to teach the deaf basic skills such as reading and writing.
Learning sign language can be a lot of fun. The learning process itself within a group brings a lot of joy. Later on when you start communicating with the deaf using sing language it feels really good. You may also accompany the deaf in trips that Resala organizes.
