Orphans
Resala has a unique big brother / big sister program for orphaned children in Egypt. Each Resala branch takes care of a number of orphaned children providing them with accommodation, food, clothing, health care and so on. The only missing element which is the human bond found in a normal family is provided by Resala through its big brother big sister program.
You may go to any Resala branch and visit the orphans there at the times of day during which visits are allowed. You may call 19450 to know at what time of day you may visit the orphans, the Resala branch nearest to you will answer. After visiting the orphans for a number of times, you may decide to become the big brother or big sister of one of them. You then become responsible for visiting this child several times a week. This helps the child create a lasting bond with you. Each child may have more than one big brother or big sister. The brothers or sisters of each child are the substitute for the normal family and provide the child with emotional support.
