Food Packing

Train

Volunteers stand in a line next to one another. The first volunteer stands at the place where the large food bags are, the last volunteer stands at the destination location where the large food bags should be moved to. The first volunteer picks a bag from the pile of bags, hands it over to the volunteer next to him/her, that volunteer then hands the bag to the next volunteer in the line and so on until the bag reaches the last volunteer who puts the bag down. As the first volunteer picks one bag after the other handing it over to the next volunteer in the line, bags are moved from their initial location to their destination.

The initial location of the bags could be the small room inside being used as a warehouse. The destination could be outside the Resala building. The destination is sometimes the back of a truck. In most cases, one of the people in the row, usually the one at or near the end of the row, keeps a running count of the bags as they arrive to him by shouting an incremental number aloud as each bag arrives.
